Racing Wall Street was born from a simple belief: that learning about the stock market should not feel like homework nor it be intimidating. So, we built a platform where curiosity is rewarded, friendly competition is encouraged, and where anyone — regardless of their background, education, or bank account — can start their financial market journey on equal footing. At Racing Wall Street we are building a movement towards a more financially literate world, and we're just getting started.
At Racing Wall Street, we've created a first-of-its-kind platform that sits at the intersection of financial education, excitement, and fun. We take the real-world complexity of stock market investing and transform it into an experiential journey that is engaging, accessible, empowering, and fun — whether someone has been trading for decades or has never bought a stock in their life.
We use real market data to power every race, meaning the decisions players make on our platform mirror the decisions real investors face every day. This is not a simulation built on hypothetical numbers — it's a reflection of actual market conditions, giving participants genuine insight into how markets move and why while exposing them to real behavioral challenges involved in financial decision making. Every race becomes a lesson, and every lesson makes the next race smarter. All of this with no financial risk — you never trade, never invest, and never put money into the market. Start free and keep playing with an Access Pass that fits how often you want to race.
In doing so, what we really strive to do is to enable participants to build their confidence. Most users come to our platform feeling clueless about financial markets, and, in a short time, grow comfortable with the jargon, hone their instincts, and — most importantly — gain the confidence that investing is something they can actually learn and get better at.
Our mission is to democratize financial education by transforming how students learn, practice, and engage with the stock market.
We believe that the biggest barrier to investing is not the access to markets but it is a lack of accessible ways to acquire the knowledge and the confidence to get started.
We envision making financial markets less intimidating, fun, and accessible to everyone
The goal is simple: predict whether the Instrument will move up or down by the end of each Race (Daily, Weekly, or Monthly). If the Instrument moves in the direction you guessed, your Racing Score is based on how far it moved.
A Race is a single competition period for each instrument.
There are three types:
Each Race has its own leaderboard and score structure.
Not at all. You’re predicting direction, not trading. It’s simple, intuitive, and designed for everyone. If you can say "Up" or "Down" you already have what it takes to participate and maybe even score. The more races you participate in, the more your intuition develops.
Your Racing Score increases when your prediction is correct.
If you guess “up” from 6900 and the Index closes at 6915, your Racing Score increases by 15.
If you guess “down” and it closes lower, your Racing Score increases by the amount of the drop.
If the instrument moves in the opposite direction of your guess, your Racing Score decreases based on the move.
Yes. You can join the Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Races simultaneously. Each one is scored independently.
Yes. You can update your prediction at any time up until 30 minutes before the market session closes (3.30pm EST) on the day the race ends. All your predictions for that Race are combined, and your final Racing Score is calculated based on the net effect of your predictions. This means every adjustment you make contributes to your overall Racing Score for that Race.
Every Race has its own leaderboard. Players are ranked by their total Racing Score during that Race. When the Race ends, the top three players earn Racing Score.
At the end of each Race, the top three players on the leaderboard earn Leaderboard Score based on their position. Cumulative Leaderboard Score are displayed on your Profile.
An Access Pass gives you a set number of Prediction Submissions that you can use to enter races and make predictions on Racing Wall Street.
Prediction Submissions are used when you make a prediction in a race. Each race entry or prediction action may use one or more Prediction Submissions depending on the race type.
Each Access Pass has its own validity period. Some Access Passes are valid for a set number of days, while limited-time Access Passes may have a fixed expiration date shown on the purchase screen.
Yes. If you already have an active Access Pass and purchase another one, the new Access Pass validity is added after your current active Access Pass expiration date.
Yes. Access Pass validity can extend up to a maximum of 180 days from today. If a purchase would go beyond that limit, the expiration date will be capped at the maximum allowed date.
When an Access Pass expires, any unused Prediction Submissions from that pass will no longer be available. You can purchase another Access Pass to continue submitting predictions.
No. All Access Pass purchases are final. There are no refunds or cancellations once the purchase is completed.
Yes. Access Passes can be used for eligible race activity, including private races when applicable. Some private race actions may require multiple Prediction Submissions.
A limited-time Access Pass is a special Access Pass that may be available only during a specific beta, campaign or promotional period. It may have a fixed expiration date instead of a standard validity period.
You can see your remaining Prediction Submissions in your account dashboard, profile area or header balance depending on the screen you are using.
